Truth is taught Prophet Saleh was not accepted wholeheartedly, but met with arrogance and anger them with a plan to kill the camel. In surat Al-Qamar verse 29: "But they called his friend, and his friends catch (for it) and kill him". Later in the letter Hud 65: "they hamstrung her, then told Saleh:" Enjoy ye in your house as long as it is tigahari can not promise that didustakan ". Then Thamood also planning to kill Prophet Salih as and their families mentioned in the letter An Naml verses 48 to 50: Dan is in the city nine men who make mischief on earth and they do not do kabaikan. They said: "Swear you with the name of God, that we really will attack suddenly and their families at night, then we say to the beneficiary (that) we are not witnessing the death of his family, and indeed we are the people who really" . And they conspire seriously and we plotted a plot (too), while they tidakmenyadari.
After that the Prophet Saleh left his people. Then came the promise of God to destroy them after three days. On the fourth day came the punishment of Allah mentioned in the letter Hud verses 66-68: And when Our command came, We saved Salih and those who believe with him by mercy from Us, and (We saved) the humiliation of the day. Verily thy Lord is He Who is Strong, Mighty. And a loud voice that thundered against the people who do wrong, then they die lying in his house. As if they had never dwelt in that place. Lo Thamood deny their Lord. Remember for Thamood destruction. Similarly, in surat Al-Qamar verse 30-32: It would be my punishment and threats Me. Indeed, We sent against them a loud voice bellowed, and they became like the dry grass (collected by) one who pens cattle. And verily we made it easy to study the Koran, is there any that mengambilpelajaran?
Narrated by Ibn Umar r.a. said: When the Messenger s.a.w. bring a friend to Tabuk had stopped briefly at the Thamood Hijr, suddenly a friend \ drawing water from wells where people drink it and they Thamud used to make food and when it has boiled in the pot, suddenly Prophet ordered them to put everything in the pot (pots) and provided food for the camels. Then he went with her until they stopped at the well where the camel (the Prophet Salih) used to drink, then the Prophet prohibiting them in the place of those who have been tortured while said: "Truly I am concerned about what you've overwritten meinimpa them, so once again do not go in their place" (Ahmad). Another History mentions that Ibn Umar r.a. said, "When the Messenger s.a.w. in the Hijr, he said: Do not go where the people who tormented unless your tears, if not to cry then do not go in there, not until you hit what has happened to them ". (Ahmad).
